NHL insider Elliotte Friedman had a lot report on the latest episode of '32 Thoughts' podcast with Jeff Marek.

@Mike_Cratty shared what Friedman reported about the Bruins:

The biggest point he eluded to was that the Bruins number one thing on the �to-do list' is to sign David Pastrnak to an extension as soon as possible.

Also that the club is very interested in Carolina Hurricanes forward Vincent Trochek, who will become a free-agent on July 13th.

Friedman discussed how new head coach Jim Montgomery and top free agent Johnny Gaudreau have history but a reunion is unlikely.
