The Boston Bruins are 27-4-3 on the season, but the few losses have been challenging for their opponents, mainly goaltenders.

Any NHL team can steal a win from another, and that has exactly been the case for the Bruins this season and seasons past. According to Ty Anderson of 98.5 The Sports Hub, Boston has more trouble when recording the majority of shots.

''A 51-shot night for the Bruins. They have 10 efforts of 50+ shots since 2005-06. They have now lost four straight when landing at least 50 on goal (0-3-1), and are 3-5-2 overall in those 10 games.''

And last night against the Senators was a perfect definition of Bruins' losses during the 2022-23 season. Cam Talbot was phenomenal, stopping 49 of 51 shots in a 3-2 shootout win for Ottawa.

You could argue that opposing goalies in Boston's losses this season have stolen the game. In the seven losses, opposing goaltenders have a combined save percentage of .933 and have stopped 251 of 269 shots.

Although, the Bruins have stolen games this season, too, as they are third in the NHL with 10 come-from-behind wins (Seven from one goal, two from two goals and one from three or more goals).
