Two Boston Bruins players officially leave the organization after announcement
The Boston Bruins will have two prospects making a major leap for USA Hockey in the summer of 2024.
As the 2024 World Junior Summer Showcase will take place, the team has invited 46 players to give their best and show how great USA Hockey is at developing talent.
Two Bruins prospects namely, Beckett Hendrickson and Chris Pelosi will be among the 46 invited.
The 2024 World Junior Summer Showcase will take place in Plymouth, MI at the USA Hockey Arena.
The Showcase will also include players from Canada, Finland and Sweden and will serve as a way for the countries to evaluate roster players for the 2025 IIHF World Championships.
NOTES: Players representing 10 different states have been invited to the World Junior Summer Showcase. Minnesota leads the way with 15 players, followed by Illinois (9), New York (6), California (4), Massachusetts (3), Michigan (3), Florida (2), New Jersey (2), Alaska (1), Pennsylvania (1) John Vanbiesbrouck (Detroit, Mich./USA Hockey) is the general manager of the U.S. National Junior Team for the seventh straight year, while David Carle (Anchorage, Alaska/University of Denver) returns as head coach for the second consecutive year The U.S. has medaled in seven of the last nine IIHF World Junior Championships, its best medal stretch ever, and enters the 2025 World Juniors as defending gold medalist.

Beckett Hendrickson split 59 games between the Sioux Falls Stampede and Dubuque Fighting Saints, scoring 64 Points(27 G, 37 A) in 2023-2024.
Chris Pelosi played 55 games for the Sioux Falls Stampede and tallied 55 points( 21 G, 34 A) as a point-per game player in the USHL in 2023-2024.
