Two Boston Bruins prospects are facing off in quarterfinal action at the World Junior Championship right now!
Dans Locmelis (4 games, 1 goal, 1 point -4 rating) of Latvia is one of the newest Bruins draft picks (2022 fourth-rounder) and has helped his team during their surprise run to the quarterfinals with his strong ability to distribute the puck.
The 18-year-old is facing off against Fabian Lysell and Sweden currently.
Lysell (4 games, 1 goal, 3 assists, 4 points +1 rating) had Bs fans buzzing over a top-shelf, short-side goal helping Sweden survive the preliminary round and face his fellow prospect in the quarterfinals.
