Boston Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark is the latest from the abs to stand out at the 2022 IIHF World Championship on Tuesday afternoon.
Ullmark was perfect in Sweden's 1-0 victory over Latvia, stopping all 21 shots he faced to send his team to the quarterfinals. It was his second start of the tournament and his first career World Championship shutout, as he earned Sweden's player of the game for his performance.
Ullmark and team Sweden will face Canada on Thursday morning in the quarterfinals. Other Bruins to watch for on Thursday will be David Pastrnak and Team Czechia taking on Germany, and Jeremy Swayman and Team USA taking on Switzerland.
