Maybe nobody is more excited to have David Krejci back with the Boston Bruins than (himself) and fellow Czechia native and newest linemate, David Pastrnak.

The two first reunited at the IIHF World Championships at the beginning of summer and had instant chemistry. The two led the Czechs to a bronze medal win in Finland with a combined 10 goals and 12 assists in the tournament.

Jim Montgomery put the two together near the end of preseason, and the connection was evident from the start. Krejci (1G, 2A) and Pastrnak (1G, 3A) carried the Bruins to a 5-2 win in their season opener against the Washington Capitals on Wednesday.

Pasta spoke postgame about the importance of having the veteran Krejci back in Boston and how he's looked so far:

''I think it's going to be different for him ... I think he's only going to get better, and he already looked pretty good out there to me. There is things we can clean up overall as a team and a line ... Hopefully, we can build off this big win today.''
