The Bruins forward spent nine seasons in Columbus, serving as Blue Jackets captain for six of them.
Nick Foligno had the date circled on his calendar for a while and knew he was in for an emotional night as he returned to Nationwide Arena on Saturday night.
Foligno was clearly a fan favorite in Columbus. When he arrived to the rink on Saturday, he took the time to salute staff members, fans and former teammates, all of whom made his time there so memorable.
