Young hockey player dies in freak accident, three more injured

Tragic news struck a young hockey player, and injured three other players.

It was just announced that this past weekend the life of a young hockey player was taken, and three other hockey players are dealing with some serious injuries in Prince Edward Island.

A cottage fire is what took the life of Noah Latimer and injured his three other teammates/friends.

"Three people who escaped the fire were injured, one with serious injuries. Once the fire was extinguished by the fire departments, human remains of one person were discovered inside.

The scene was held by the RCMP and the investigation is ongoing."

The names of the people who were injured during the cottage fire have not been released by the police just yet, but it was confirmed that Noah Latimer did sadly pass away.

In Noah's short time with the Colts he made an immediate impact on the organization, being the ultimate teammate and even received playoff MVP award for the Colts. Noah Latimer played parts of 2 seasons with the Bearcats in 2021/22 and 2022/23.
