On February 3rd, 2011, the Boston Bruins and Dallas Stars combined for perhaps the wildest starts to a game in NHL history.
In the opening four seconds of the game, there was three fights, which was followed by two Boston goals under 1:20 into the game.
One of those in that game was Zdeno Chara who was captain of the Bruins at the time. The long time defender recently joined Games With Names with Julian Edelman and Sam Morril to discuss that day's events. See below:
Chara got into the action himself as he received a 10-minute misconduct in the second period. He also recorded one assist in a 6-3 win.
Daniel Paille and Steve Ott led the way with 15 penalty minutes each.
