Matthew Tkachuk in a lot of trouble after breaking a rule with the Stanley Cup

The Florida Panthers and Matthew Tkachuk are Stanley Cup champions, only recently did the team celebrate bringing Tkachuk into the team, 2 years ago.

In the two years he's been with the club, he's won a Stanley Cup and been to the finals twice. Imagine the feeling, of winning the Cup following the loss a year before. Ecstatic right?

Undoubtedly Tkachuk was excited and wanted to partake in innocent fun. While doing so, he is drawing the ire of many, as he has broken a major rule with the Stanley Cup.

It was revealed that Tkachuk could face punishment as a result of the incident as a rule, unbeknownst to Tkachuk himself.

«I did not know that wasn't allowed, I promise you,» Tkachuk told KSDK News. «It was the day after I won, I still hadn't slept at that point, and it was just me and a few of my teammates. We had nobody with us to say, �Matthew, don't be an idiot. Don't do that.' So I thought it was fitting, but if I would have known I wasn't supposed to do it, I wouldn't have done it, but also, I think it's pretty funny.»

Like all brothers do, he blames Brady Tkachuk for the incident occurring:

My brother was like, �The ocean's right there, why don't you just go take it in there right now, Matthew explained. I'm like, �That's a great idea. We'll go do that.' I guess I didn't give him credit when I first got asked about it, and he was pretty upset with me, so there, he gets the credit for that.

He hasn't heard of any official fines for his actions, but he was still allowed his day with the cup, in St. Louis, MO.
