A massive trade proposal between the Boston Bruins and Colorado Avalanche has surfaced.

The Boston Bruins and Jeremy Swayman have still been unable to reach a deal, and with training camp in a couple of days, things are not looking good.

Elliotte Friedman has reported that the Boston Bruins and Jeremy Swayman are still far apart in contract talks. There was also a report stating that there is a good chance that the Boston Bruins start the season with a duo of Joonas Korpisalo and Brandon Bussi.

Jeremy Swayman is looking for $9.5-$10 million on his next deal, where the Bruins have offered him $6-$6.5 million. The Bruins don't have much to work with as they have $8.6 million in cap space, and would not be able to afford what Swayman is looking for unless they make a trade.

A trade proposal has emerged between the Boston Bruins and Colorado Avalanche that would send Jeremy Swayman to the Avalanche.

The reported return would be Avalanche goaltender Alexandar Georgiev, and Samuel Girad.

If Swayman is stuck on getting the contract he is reportedly asking for, and won't come down, the Boston Bruins may end up trading him, and this return from Colorado might be the best they can get.
