David Pastrnak continues to prove that he's a star in the NHL and his latest milestones put him near the top of Czechia hockey history.
Aiming to Surpass a Legend
Pastrnak may never pass Jaromir Jagr in total points, as he put the second most in league history (1,921), but his goal scoring ability has him up there with his country's hockey legend.
Jagr scored 62 goals - along with 149 points - in 82 games with the Penguins during the 1995-96 season. With just two games remaining for the Boston Bruins, Pastrnak has a chance to pass him, especially the way he's been scoring as of late.
Pasta's 60th of the season was also the 300th of his career, and with it, sits in 8th and 466 back of Jagr for the most scored by a Czech-born player.
Right now in his career, the 26-year-old is scoring at a goal every second game pace, with 300 in 590 games (.51 per game). He may even pass it during his new eight-year, $90 million contract he recently signed to stay in Boston.
