A major announcement has just been made regarding hockey in Boston

Yesterday the NHL made a major announcement regarding a tournament that will be taking place in Boston at TD Garden.

It was announced by the NHL and NHLPA that the Bell Centre and TD Garden will officially be the host for the 4 Nations Face-Off that will be taking place in February 2025.

The teams that are set to be involved in the tournament will be the United States, Canada, Finland and Sweden and will be taking place from February 12th to the 20th.

David Pastrnak was upset that Czechia didn't get an invite to go and play and called out Gary Bettman and the NHL after Czechia won Gold Medal at this years World Championship.

The tournament will have the same rules as the NHL and will be a traditional Round Robin format, each team will play in three games. Three points will awarded for a win, two points for an overtime win or shootout win and one point for a loss in overtime or shootout.

The complete schedule has been listed below for the tournament.

Wednesday, Feb. 12: Canada vs. Sweden, 8 p.m. at Bell Centre on TNT
Thursday, Feb. 13: USA vs. Finland, 8 p.m. at Bell Centre on ESPN
Saturday, Feb. 15: Finland vs. Sweden, 1 p.m. at Bell Centre on ABC
Saturday, Feb. 15: USA vs. Canada, 8 p.m. at Bell Centre on ABC
Monday, Feb. 17: Canada vs. Finland, 1 p.m. at TD Garden on TNT
Monday, Feb. 17: Sweden vs. USA, 8 p.m. at TD Garden on TNT
Thursday, Feb. 20: Championship Game, 8 p.m. at TD Garden on ESPN
