The Boston Bruins have jettisoned the idea of a 1A-1B goalie tandem when Vezina Trophy winner Linus Ullmark was shipped to Ottawa.

In return, they received backup goalie, Joonas Korpisalo who will look to improve his game under Bob Essensa.

In the meantime, fans could be wondering, will Ullmark a beloved Bruins goalie, ever return to Boston? It seems unlikely now.

According to Shawn Simpson a former GM and Pro Scout, he's heard that Ullmark has purchased property in Ottawa.

Which he says shares many similarities with Sweden, which is understandable why Ullmark might feel at home in Canada's capital city.

This may give you an idea of how Ullmark views his future with the Senators and it seems he's strapping in for the long-term haul.

Ullmark will simply not settle for being a rental, or a back-up goalie, or even a 1B it seems.

As the team continues its rebuild, stability in the net would be a priority and GM Steve Staios should see to that right away.
