A recent stat was tweeted showing that Boston Bruins superstar David Pastrnak is far from overrated as he is right alongside all the greats of the current NHL.

The stat focused on most even strength goals since 2014-2015 and Pastrnak is sitting in a comfortable 4th place between Connor McDavid and Sidney Crosby. Pastrnak who was drafted in 2014 by the Bruins, in the first round 25th overall has been an absolute gem for the team.

Having played his entire career with Boston, his point totals have been fantastic as he has eclipsed well over a point a game multiple times throughout his career. In the 2023-2024 season, he played all 82 games scored 47 goals, 63 assists for 110 points and was a + 21 with 47 penalty minutes.

His team has seen a recent decline in offensive talent as Oilers legendary centermen Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci had retired but he still led the team in points. He recently enjoyed winning the gold medal at the World Hockey Championships where he took his home country Czechia and recently got married.

The Bruins are looking forward to seeing what he will bring to the table this year and years going forward as the 28-year-old will continue to lead the team and have hopes to raise the Stanley Cup at some point soon.
