A popular Boston Bruins podcast account on X has asked Bruins fans their opinion on a potential trade involving Trent Frederic and a former Bruin.
A poll was made on social media asking if Bruins fans would want to see Don Sweeney make a trade to bring back Taylor Hall in exchange for Trent Frederic.
Trent Frederic has been involved in multiple trade rumours ever since the Bruins have been open about wanting to make some changes.
The reason Taylor Hall's name has surfaced in trade rumours recently is due to him being healthy scratched in the Blackhawks most recent game.
The poll that was created on X saw 70.1% of fans vote no to trading Frederic for Hall, and 29.9% of fans said yes.
The chances this trade happens is very slim. There is a good chance if Hall is on the trading block the Bruins may be interested, but not for Trent Frederic.
Hall so far this season has played in 17 games for the Chicago Blackhawks, and has two goals along with 4 assists for 6 points on the year.
Moreover, Hall has only played a combined 27 games over the last two years, and is a very injury prone.
As for Trent Frederic last year he played a full 82 game season, and is on pace to play another full 82 if he can stay healthy.
Frederic has three goals and three assists for six points this year in 19 games with the Boston Bruins.
Although they have the exact same points, Frederic plays the Bruins gritty style of hockey better then Taylor Hall.
If the Bruins were to try and re-acquire Hall, it would not take him long to fit in as he already knows the Bruins system from the three-years he played with the organization.
