The Boston Bruins prospect pipeline may not be one of the best in the NHL, but there is one prospect you should look out for in 2024.

One particular prospect, 22-year-old Riley Duran could make an impact at training camp. Duran was drafted in the 2022 NHL Draft, at a frame of 6'2", 185 pounds has impressed during his short time with the Providence Bruins.

He has scored only 4 points in 11 games with the AHL Bruins, which may not seem impressive, but his quick jump from Providence College to the AHL, with limited ice time production has shocked scouts.

He's even impressed teammate Matthew Poitras:

"I think we've made some hard decisions with players. I think this year Poitras and Beecher were good examples of that. That they played well enough, they earned their opportunity, and I would say to Georgii Merkulov or Fabian or Riley Duran or keep going down the list, just pin your ears back, train your ass of this summer, and come with the intent that there'll be an opportunity here. If you're the best player, then we find a way to get you in the lineup."

Duran is known as a two-way forward, which the Bruins organization loves. He has a high hockey IQ, and his physical play could lead to him cracking a spot in the bottom six, as he's a capable forward on the penalty kill, and can eat ice time.
