The Boston Bruins are adding some new players into their roster tonight for their home opener tonight against the Montreal Canadiens.

The Florida Panthers embarrassed the Boston Bruins in their season opener on Tuesday, and Jim Montgomery is being quick to make changes.

After their 6-4 loss to the Florida Panthers, Jim Montgomery has already made some changes to his defensive pairings, and is now making some more changes to his forward group as well.

Jim Montgomery announced earlier that Mason Lohrei will be coming out of the lineup for tonight, and it was also revealed that Max Jones will. not be playing tonight either, instead Riley Tufte will make his debut with the Boston Bruins during their home opener.

Montgomery confirmed that Tufte and Wotherspoon are in for Jones and Lohrei. He said that's not a reflection of Jones and Lohrei's games in particular since the whole team was poor Tuesday, but he wants to get everyone in early in the season anyways.

Projected lines for tonight:

The Boston Bruins take on the Montreal Canadiens tonight at TD Garden, puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight.

Do you think Riley Tufte deserves a full time roster spot?
