Boston Bruins Asking Price Revealed: It's Ridiculous
After being acquired from the Red Wings, forward Tyler Bertuzzi surpassed expectations despite the Bruins' early exit from the playoffs.
Attention now turns to securing his contract before he becomes a free agent.
But there is one big issue.
His asking price for a new contract has been revealed, and he's seeking over $7 million per season. Despite injury setbacks, Bertuzzi contributed 16 points in 21 games.
His previous contract was $4.75 million AAV. While $7 million may be ambitious, he could command $6-$6.75 million as a free agent... or shall he take a cheaper deal to stay with the Bruins?
