Boston Bruins complete and emergency move ahead of game 1 vs Panthers

The Boston Bruins made a big move yesterday. They brought back forward Patrick Brown from Providence. General Manager Don Sweeney announced this on May 5. It's an emergency call-up, meaning they need extra help.

Patrick Brown, who's 31, has played 11 games for Boston this season. He got one assist. He's a big guy, standing 6-foot-1 and weighing 218 pounds. In Providence, he's been doing well too. He scored 11 goals and assisted on 21 others in 42 games.

Brown has played for a few NHL teams before, like Ottawa, Philadelphia, Vegas, and Carolina. In total, he's played 149 NHL games, getting 10 goals and 15 assists.
