Boston Bruins elite player on goal-scoring slump prior surgery
Brad Marchand, the Boston Bruins' talented left-winger, experienced a dip in goal-scoring during the recently concluded season.
While Marchand remains one of the top left-wingers in the NHL when healthy, his performance this year fell short of expectations.
Despite undergoing hip surgery and making a remarkable comeback, Marchand tallied only 21 goals and 67 points in 73 games.
This raises concerns about whether this is a sign of a downward trend for the 35-year-old veteran or simply a temporary setback.
With a full offseason of training ahead, Marchand aims to regain his elite goal-scoring form and prove that his recent struggles were merely a blip in his illustrious career.
If Marchand can't find his scoring touch at the level he played at before, he might be the next one to go while he still holds some value
