Boston Bruins have placed a surprising player on waivers today

Today the Boston Bruins have placed a forward on waivers.

The Boston Bruins haven't made many moves since the start of training camp until today, when they decided to cut 14-players as Providence Bruins training camp begins tomorrow. .

Here is the whole list of players that were cut today:

Here come the cuts: Joey Abate, Drew Bavaro, Ryan Bischel, Frederic Brunet, Michael Callahan, Riley Duran, Jackson Edward, John Farinacci, Brett Harrison, Trevor Kuntar, Fabian Lysell, Nolan Maier, Ryan Mast, Adam Mechura, Georgii Merkulov, Mason Millman, Jaxon Nelson to P-Bruins

With that being said, they didn't just cut 14-players, they also put a surprising player on waivers today as well.

The Boston Bruins announced today that they have placed Marc McLaughlin on waivers.

There were also 24 other players that were placed on waivers today, here is the full list of players:

BOS: McLaughlin
CGY: Kirkland, Frk
LA: Walsh, Madden, Hicketts, Gawdin

STL: Skinner, McGing, MacEachern, Laferriere
CHI: Sanford, Seney

After being placed on waivers, all NHL teams have a chance to steal McLaughlin from the Boston Bruins.
