At the end of September, the Boston Bruins held their season-opening press conference, and all of Boston Bruins management was present to speak with the media.
During the press conference the president of the Boston Bruins, Cam Neely revealed whether or not Jeremy Swayman wanted to remain a Boston Bruin or not.
Reportedly, Cam Neely had asked Jeremy Swayman if he wanted to be a Boston Bruin, and here is what he had to say:
During the press conference things went from ugly, to horrible for the Boston Bruins. At first Cam Neely stated that if he were Jeremy Swayman he would have $64 million reasons on why he would be playing right now.
That's not all, later during the day after the press conference, Jeremy Swayman's agent, Lewis Gross took to social media to reveal that this offer was never presented to him or Jeremy Swayman.
Jim Montgomery revealed that Joonas Korpisalo will be the Boston Bruins starting goaltender for opening night. Today the Bruins made another move that makes it seem like they are not close on a deal with Jeremy Swayman, by claiming a goaltender off of waivers.
The Boston Bruins have until the December 1st deadline to get a deal done, and if not Jeremy Swayman will not be able to play in the 2024-25 season, and or playoffs.
