Boston Bruins Officially Complete A Roster Transaction, Set To Complete Another One

It was just announced that the Boston Bruins have completed a roster transaction after a recent report confirmed that one was going to be made.
Early this morning following the Bruins practice this morning, Boston Bruins head coach Joe Sacco spoke with the media and stated that the Bruins are expected to make a roster move.
Sacco stated that because of Trent Frederic's recent injury, and Oliver Wahlstrom being placed on waivers that the Bruins are down to 12 forwards and will be calling someone up for their road trip.
Sacco said Poitras made it through practice well and could be an option tomorrow. Down to 12 forwards, they'll be bring up another player for the trip
Bruins Complete A Roster Move, And Have Another One Coming
With the news this morning of the Bruins being set to announce a roster move involving a forward, they made an interesting move and instead sent down a defenseman.
Bruins insider Steve Conroy revealed that the Boston Bruins are sending Michael Callahan down to the Providence Bruins, and expects the Bruins to recall Ian Mitchell.
He also revealed that another roster move or two will be made and the Bruins will be calling up a couple more forwards.
Callahan is going down. Guessing Ian Mitchell will be coming up on the back end along with a forward or two
Callahan has only appeared in 11 games this season for the Boston Bruins, and has 0 points, but has been super solid for the Bruins on the back end.
Mitchell on the other hand has had a solid season down in Providence.
In 46 games this season, Mitchell has 4 goals, 23 assists for 27 points.
Other Bruins insiders believe this move was only made because the Bruins would like a right handed shot defenseman.
I thought Callahan had played well enough to stay but I understand wanting a right handed D. stay tuned to see who the forward(s) call up is.
