Boston Bruins Shock Fans With Two More Roster Transactions Including A Fan Favourite

Following their morning skate, interim head coach Joe Sacco hinted that the Boston Bruins were going to be making some roster transactions, and they just announced two more.
Bruins insider Steve Conroy revealed that the Boston Bruins sent Michael Callahan down to the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League.
He also hinted that the Bruins were going to be making another one or two roster moves before their road trip against the Pittsburgh Penguins tomorrow.
Callahan is going down. Guessing Ian Mitchell will be coming up on the back end along with a forward or two
Now the Boston Bruins have completed another two roster transactions involving a fan favourite.
Bruins Recall Two More Players Involving A Fan Favourite
Not long after the announcement the Boston Bruins confirmed that they completed another roster transaction.
With Oliver Wahlstrom being placed on waivers, and assigned to the Providence Bruins, and Trent Frederic being injured, it opened up two roster spots for the Boston Bruins.
Bruins recall Georgii Merkulov, Jeffrey Viel and Ian Mitchell.
To Providence: Oliver Wahlstrom, Riley Tufte, Mike Callahan.

Merkulov has been lighting it up in the American Hockey League, currently tied for 1st in points for the Bruins and tied for 12th in points in the entire league.
Viel on the other hand has had a solid season as well, in 51 games with Providence he has 8 goals, 18 assists for 26 points this year.
