Brad Marchand Shocks Fans With Latest Comments Following Boston Bruins Fifth Consecutive Loss

The Boston Bruins are not giving management any reason to want to buy at the NHL trade deadline, and Brad Marchand's latest comments following their fifth consecutive loss revealed that they are going to be sellers.
Since coming back from the 4 Nations Face-Off break, the Boston Bruins have lost all three of their games, and currently are riding a five game losing streak.
Two of those losses since coming back from the break have been against non-playoff teams, and those are just games that they needed to win. These losses were to the New York Islanders, and the Anaheim Ducks.
The other loss since the 4 Nations break was to the Toronto Maple Leafs, where the Boston Bruins ended up picking up a point by losing in overtime, but held a 3-0 lead on the Leafs late in the second period and ended up blowing it.
With the NHL trade deadline just one week away, it's clear now that the Bruins are going to be sellers, and Brad Marchand's comments following their loss last night confirmed it.
Marchand Stuns Fans With Comments Following Loss
After the game last night, Marchand met with the media and stunned fans with his comments.
Brad Marchand stated that the Bruins may not achieve what they wanted too this year, but that doesn't mean they can't build on something for next year.
Brad Marchand: «At the end of the day, we may not achieve what we hope to this year, but that doesn't mean that we can't build for something greater and bring it back next year.»
Unfortunately the Bruins are going to miss the playoffs for the first time in 8 years, and it's going to a different look for fans at the NHL trade deadline this year.
