The Boston Bruins projected lineup for their game tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Boston Bruins have yet to be able to find a rhythm during the 2024-25 season so far, and their record speaks for itself. The Bruins have not been good at all, having a record of 4-5-1, they have not been able to get their offence going even after bringing in some players like Nikita Zadorov and Elias Lindholm.

During practice Jim Montgomery threw the Bruins lines in a blender, making some big changes, the biggest one being none of the fourth line players will be playing on a line together, and the other biggest one being the top line has officially been broken up.

Bruins projected lines:

Prax lines:

Beecher-Zacha-Pastrnak
Marchand-Lindholm-Kastelic
Jones-Coyle-Koepke
Frederic-Poitras-Brazeau
Johnson-Geekie

Lohrei-McAvoy
Lindholm-Carlo
Zadorov-Peeke
Wotherspoon

Swayman
Korpisalo

Yesterday after breaking up the top line, Jim Montgomery was questioned about it following practice, and Montgomery flat out said that the line just did not work, even though they thought it would.

Montgomery on why the Lindholm/Pastrnak duo hasn't gelled:

"I don't know. It should work. Two smart hockey players, two players that see the ice really well, two players that can shoot and pass. Two players that can skate. It just hasn't materialized. So we're changing it up."

The Bruins are now gearing up to take on the Carolina Hurricanes, and will look to get back into the second line.
