The Boston Bruins are going to be a team to keep your eye on as we get closer to the 2025 NHL trade deadline.

This season the Boston Bruins have been struggling to find consistency, and they are reportedly set to make some big moves as we get closer to the trade deadline because of it.

TSN released their first trade bait board of the 2024-25 season, and it featured two Boston Bruins players including Justin Brazeau, and Trent Frederic. TSN listed Trent Frederic as number 9, and Justin Brazeau was listed at number 16.

Trent Frederic has been involved in a lot of trade chatter this year considering it's a contract year for him, and him being considered a top 10 trade candidate makes a lot of sense.

With it being a contract year for the St. Louis Missouri native a lot of teams have showed interest in the forward especially due to the physicality he brings to a teams roster. This year has been a big struggle for the forward though as he only has six goals, seven assists for 13 points, along with a minus-9 on the year in 45 games this season.

If the Bruins are not in a playoff spot near the trade deadline, or not close to a contract extension with Trent Frederic the chances of him being traded is pretty high.

Brazeau on the other hand is a surprising one for the Bruins, the 26-year-old is set to be an unrestricted free agent who the Boston Bruins may look to shop around the trade deadline.

The 6-foot-6 winger has been a nice surprise for the Bruins this year he has 10 goals, nine assists in 43 games along with being a minus-4 for the Bruins.

While the Bruins may shop Brazeau, it may not be the worst idea for the Bruins to consider keeping him. Brazeau has proved he can provide solid depth scoring for the Boston Bruins and doesn't come with a massive cap hit.
