Former Vegas Golden Knights sniper, Max Pacioretty remains unsigned, as NHL free-agency marches on.

The 35-year-old winger, played 47 games for the Capitals, scoring 23 points, while registering an assist in four playoff games with the Caps.

He was made available by the Capitals at the trade deadline but found no suitors.

Pacioretty could end up being an affordable top-nine option for the Boston Bruins, as his last contract in Washington was a 1x$2 Million AAV contract which also paid him an additional $2 Million in performance bonuses.

Pacioretty isn't ready to hang up the skates as it seems he's recovered from his last Achilles injury.

While not performing to the elite level he did in Montreal and Vegas, Pacioretty could be a solid add for the Bruins on the left side.

As the Bruins desperately need help on the top-nine and Pacioretty could slot in on the 1st line, pushing Zacha down in the lineup, or slotting in on the 2nd line, pushing Marchand onto the 1st.

The Bruins as they stand now have $8.6 Million in cap space and will need to find bargain help in the meantime, which Pacioretty could end up being.
