Brad Marchand Stuns Fans With Postgame Comments Following Embarrassing Loss
The Boston Bruins lost yet another embarrassing game to the Vegas Golden Knights right before the NHL goes on their two week break for the Four Nations Faceoff.
Brad Marchand following the game did not hold back, calling out his team, and stunning many with his postgame comments.
Just the other day, David Pastrnak ended up calling out the Bruins following their loss to the New York Rangers, and now the captain has followed suit.
The Boston Bruins would have found themselves back in a playoff spot if they could've pulled off a win against the Vegas Golden Knights, but instead still sit 4th in the Eastern Conference while other teams have multiple games in hand on them.
Instead the Boston Bruins ended up blowing yet another lead in the third period to Vegas, doing so in back-to-back games.
Before their game against the New York Rangers, the Bruins were 16-0-4 when holding a lead entering the third period this season, but have gone on to blow a third period lead in back-to-back games, losing both in regulation.
Entering Wednesday, the Bruins were 16-0-4 this season when entering the third period with a lead.
They've now lost back-to-back games in regulation when entering the third period with a lead.
Vegas wins, 4-3.
Brad Marchand calls out his teammates
After the game, Brad Marchand spoke with the media and stated that the Bruins need to have the right mindset when returning from the Four Nations Faceoff break, and that they are going to have to play do-or-die hockey for the rest of the season.
Brad Marchand says the team needs to return from #4Nations with the «right mindset,» saying they'll be playing «do-or-die hockey» the rest of the season.
The Bruins have a long road ahead of them, but to many it seems pretty clear what direction the Bruins should take at the NHL Trade Deadline.
