Brad Marchand takes shots at the Toronto Maple Leafs after game 7 win
Brad Marchand, the leader of the Boston Bruins, really knows how to add salt to the wound. In a crucial Game 7 against the Toronto Maple Leafs, he not only helped his team win in overtime but also took a dig at the Maple Leafs' slogan.
Right after the big win, Marchand was interviewed on the ice. Instead of just celebrating, he made a joke about the Maple Leafs' slogan, saying,
"Just [BeLeaf]. We believed in our team all year, and that didn't change."
But Marchand also gave credit to the Maple Leafs for putting up a tough fight.
"They are a great team," he said. "We knew they would give us a hard time, and they did. They played really well."
