With the Boston Bruins finally back in action on Thursday night, there's some big news regarding captain Patrice Bergeron's availability.
Oh Captain. My Captain!
According to the Bruins' lineup shared by Conor Ryan of Boston.com, Bergeron will be back in the lineup against the Maple Leafs tonight.
Bruins forward lines tonight against Toronto:
Marchand-Bergeron-DeBrusk
Bertuzzi-Zacha-Pastrnak
Frederic-Coyle-Greer
Lauko-Nosek-Hathaway
Bergeron, 37, has missed three of Boston's last four games due to nagging injuries to the upper and lower body (along with much needed rest). The veteran has continued his amazing career with 27 goals and 30 assists through 74 games in his 19th season.
The Bruins still have something to play for, as they're currently two wins away from tying the NHL single-season record (62).
They host the Maple Leafs at TD Garden for a 5 pm EST puck drop.
