NHL Comes To Final Verdict On David Pastrnak's Suspension
The recent decision by the National Hockey League regarding a contentious hit over the weekend has surfaced through seasoned NHL correspondent Arthur Staple. According to Staple's Sunday report, citing an inside source, there will be no additional disciplinary action for Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak from the NHL's Department of Player Safety.
Pastrnak found himself ejected from Saturday night's matchup against the New York Rangers due to a hit that caused damage to Rangers defenseman Ryan Lindgren, resulting in Lindgren getting injured.
Jim Montgomery, the head coach of the Boston Bruins, openly expressed his disagreement with the call immediately after the game. His sentiments were echoed by critiques from another NHL player. While the Bruins are likely to accept the ruling, the Rangers may harbor a more discontented perspective on the matter.
