Just what Bruins fans were concerned about when it was revealed Jim Montgomery would be icing a basically full lineup in Montreal.

Prior to the start of the second period against the Canadiens, the team made the following announcement regarding Patrice Bergeron:
Assuming Bergeron was just feeling discomfort and any type of injury will get extra attention. Which was confirmed by Ty Anderson, who shared the following:
''What I can tell you is that almost every early exit over the last 2-3 weeks or so has had a noticeable extra layer of 'precautionary' to it.''
