Bruins captain Brad Marchand under fire following recent comments
Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand made some hilarious comments towards the legendary Wayne Gretzky.
Brad Marchand became the first person ever to win Mr. TNT last year, and this year Tampa Bay Lightning's head coach Jon Cooper became the second person to ever win the award.
The way you can win this award is by being the best coach or player that brings the best personality to the TNT broadcast.
When Brad Marchand reached out and congratulated Cooper, he also took a shot at Wayne Gretzky in the process.
Cooper was on the TNT broadcast Friday and explained how Brad Marchand texted him about winning the award and took a shot at Gretzky stating that at least there is a trophy Gretzky hasn't won which gave the broadcast a good laugh.
After Jon Cooper won the Mr. TNT trophy, he got a text from Brad Marchand, flexing on Wayne Gretzky 🏆😅
The other nominees for the tropy were Zach Hyman, Joey Daccord, and Jordan Martinook, but ultimately Jon Cooper took the award home for the year.
