Boston Bruins head coach has announced that 6-foot-5 210 LBS forward Justin Brazeau will be a healthy scratch tonight agains the Nashville Predators

Jim Montgomery has confirmed that Justin Brazeau will be a healthy scratch for tonight's matchup against the Nashville Predators. This decision comes as the Bruins aim to bounce back from their recent struggles and find a winning rhythm.

Brazeau, who has shown promise this season, will sit out while Montgomery shakes up the lineup. The Bruins' forward lines for tonight will see some changes, the first being the trio of Brad Marchand, Elias Lindholm, and David Pastrnak on the top line, while Johnny Beecher, Mark Kastelic, and Cole Koepke remain on the fourth line.

Brazeau and Riley Tufte will be sitting out as the extra skaters for this game.

This change might be an effort by Montgomery to get more out of his top-six forwards, as Charlie Coyle, Morgan Geekie, and others have been struggling to produce consistently. Morgan Geekie will not be in the top six anymore, instead Trent Frederic will be taking his place. In the past few games, the Bruins' offense hasn't been clicking as expected, and Montgomery is likely trying to find the right combination of players to spark some life into the team.

Brazeau has been in and out of the lineup this season, but he still has potential to contribute as the season progresses. Montgomery's decision to scratch him tonight could be a message to keep up the hard work and continue developing his game, as the Bruins' depth will be key moving forward.

As the Bruins face off against the Predators, all eyes will be on the adjustments Montgomery has made to see if they can deliver a much-needed win. With Jeremy Swayman starting in goal and Jonas Korpisalo backing up, the Bruins will hope their reshuffled lineup can come together for a strong performance.
