Bruins Star Player Rumoured To Be Involved In Massive Three Team Trade
In the midst of trade talks heating up mid-week, insider Kevin Weekes has sparked chatter about a possible three-team trade before Friday's deadline.
Weekes suggests the Vancouver Canucks might nab Jake Guentzel from the Pittsburgh Penguins, with the Bruins and Flames also involved.
The Canucks recently acquired Elias Lindholm from the Calgary Flames. Insider Chris Johnston hinted that Vancouver might explore getting Guentzel and then sending Lindholm to the Bruins.
For the Bruins, making room for Lindholm could mean parting with Jake DeBrusk. Guentzel's status on the Penguins' injured list adds complexity, but his impressive stats make him desirable for Vancouver.
Plenty of potential deal scenarios out there right now, but this one I heard has caught my attention ;
Guentzel to
@Canucks
DeBrusk to
@penguins
Lindholm to
@NHLBruins
In a potential 3 way deal.
As talks intensify, teams interested in Guentzel, like the Canucks, Carolina Hurricanes, Vegas Golden Knights, and Edmonton Oilers, may seek contract extensions before making trade offers. With many moving parts, the trade's outcome remains uncertain but captivating.
