Boston Bruins Cam Neely has called out two of the Boston Bruins top prospects and things could get ugly.

Cam Neely, during the Boston Bruins Gala this past week ended up calling out Boston Bruins top two prospects in Fabian Lysell, and Matt Poitras, and fans are not having it.

Cam Neely was asked what the Boston Bruins organization has in the two prospects and he stated that both Poitras, and Lysell need to out score their mistakes.

Cam Neely on seeing what the organization has in Matt Poitras and Fabian Lysell before looking for external help:

«Are you out scoring your mistakes is really the question at the end of the day»

Ask that same question about the players on the NHL roster too, Cam.

Lysell was drafted by the Boston Bruins almost four years ago, and the organization has given him zero chances to prove himself. This year he finally made his debut with the Boston Bruins, but was immediately sent back down to the American Hockey League right after his debut.

Brian DeFelice an insider for the Boston Bruins has come out and called Cam Neely and Don Sweeney out because of this.

DeFelice stated that with the Bruins drafting Lysell 3.5 years ago in the first round with the 21st overall pick, that he should be in the NHL right now, and because he's not, it says more about Don Sweeney's drafting more then anything.

Additionally - If BOS hasn't been willing to give Lysell a real NHL look 3.5 years after being drafted 21st overall, and don't the rest of this season (though i think they will) .. what does that say about the pick Sweeney made? You'd think they'd want him in the NHL by now.

Fabian Lysell is having a solid year this year with the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League. In 31 appearances this year he has six goals, 15 assists for 21 points.

In his NHL debut, Lysell played a big role in the first goal the Bruins scored, although he wasn't credited a point on the play, he made a play that ended up leading to the goal.

Head coach Joe Sacco stated that he was impressed with Lysell's debut, and he should get another chance with the Bruins, but it's unclear when exactly he will.
