This week, Vancouver Canucks' goalie, Thatcher Demko, found himself at the center of attention for an awkward moment involving Bruins' goalie Jeremy Swayman during the All-Star Game festivities.

A video circulating online captured Swayman extending a hug to fellow netminders, only for Demko to seemingly ignore the gesture as he left the locker room.

In response to inquiries from reporters, Swayman revealed that Demko apologized the following morning for the unintentional snub. Additionally, Demko offered a hug during the morning skate as a gesture of reconciliation.

Upon further reflection, it appears that Demko's oversight may have been due to his focus on the upcoming game rather than any deliberate action. Fortunately, both goaltenders seem to have resolved any potential tension, indicating that there will be no lingering animosity between them. With any luck, they can share a laugh about the incident when they next cross paths.
