11 years ago, the Bruins and Stars engaged in one of the most crazy starts to a game in NHL history, and Zdeno Chara recently recalled the events that took place.
Wildest Start to a Bruins' Game. Ever?
Within the first four seconds of the game at TD Garden, three separate fights erupted, followed by two quick goals from Boston, scored less than 1:20 into the game.
Among those present was Zdeno Chara, who was captain of the Bruins' at the time, and the longtime defender recently appeared on Games With Names alongside Julian Edelman and Sam Morril to reminisce about the memorable start.
Chara didn't shy away from the action, earning a 10-minute misconduct in the second period, while also contributing an assist in the Bruins' 6-3 victory.
Daniel Paille and Steve Ott topped the list with 15 penalty minutes each.
