David Pastrnak is one of the few NHL players that makes a stylistic impression on and off the ice, and Charlie Coyle recently shared what exactly makes him so special.

The Bruins forward recently joined Jackie Redmond, E.J. Hradek and former enforcer Mike Rupp - via video - of the The NHL Network to discuss the characteristics that moulded the Pasta we all know and love.

The ''Pastrnak Persona''

Pastrnak brings energy, modesty and humour to a league that doesn't necessarily have the marketing skills of other professional sports leagues. One significant factor that sets Pasta apart from his peers is his knack for fashion, which Coyle noted is only for some, especially himself.

''I don't know if I envy it or not. Some of the stuff he wears, I just can't see myself doing that, but he pulls it off. It's one thing to dress like that then go out and do okay, but he puts up 60 goals... he backs it up.''

He brings it on the ice too. As Pastrnak set career highs in all major categories, finishing second with 61 goals (three behind Connor McDavid), 24th in assists with 52, and tied with Nikita Kucherov for third in points with 113. The 26-year-old also appeared in all 82 games for the Bruins for the second time in his nine-year career.

However, all that wasn't good enough for Pasta to take home top honours in Bleacher Report's ''Style Rankings'' this season.
