The Boston Bruins selected with the 25th overall pick in the NHL Draft, towering Center Dean Letourneau.

It's often tradition for players of the team who drafted the pick to reach out to their future teammates, which meant it was Charlie McAvoy's turn to do so.

McAvoy was a Boston University Terrier alumnus and played two seasons in collegiate hockey with the school.

Of course, Letourneau is going to Boston College to play for the Eagles, which led to an interesting interaction between the two:

«I got a text from McAvoy after I got drafted,» Letourneau told the «Drop the Mitts Hockey» podcast. «He's a Boston University Terrier so he was kind of just saying that he won't hold it against me that I'm going to be an Eagle.»

It sounds like McAvoy is getting ready for locker-room antics, chirping the 1st rounder already.

However, Letourneau isn't the only prospect whose been a product of the Boston Eagles, as Marc McLaughlin, and Trevor Kuntar are who are currently in Providence.

Letourneau's teammates, Andre Gasseau and Oskar Jellivik are Eagles too! Did McAvoy send out messages like this to them as well?
