It was a comment that shocked many on the Spitting Chiclets as the hosts had Bruins superstar David Pasternak on for an episode when he stated that he wanted Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl to join the Bruins.

The comment came when Pastrnak was being asked several questions on the topic of any players that he tried to recruit while he was over in his home country of Czechia who won gold in the world hockey championships. Pastrnak, gave a sly grin when he said that he wanted to see Draisaitl in a Boston Bruins uniform.

It's forbidden for any players, agents, or general managers to speak to other players that are under contract by an organization. Some hosts including Ryan Whitney were stunned by the statement and were even put back as it kept going.

Draisaitl and the Bruins have been linked over the course of this season as he has one year remaining left on his deal and after July 1st he will be allowed to sign a long-term extension. Trade rumors have been swirling over the past couple of months as many felt that Draisaitl may not want to sign with the Oilers and look elsewhere as he may seek to be the leader of another team.

For now, Draisaitl is enjoying the moment as the Oilers defeated the Dallas Stars 2-1 in game six which punched their ticket to the Stanley Cup finals, Well Pasternak is enjoying his gold win as his offseason is set to open.
