Boston Bruins star forward David Pastrnak publicly called out Tyler Bertuzzi for leaving the Boston Bruins.

David Pastrnak was on the Spittin' Chiclets podcast the other day and took some shots at former Boston Bruin Tyler Bertuzzi.

Bertuzzi was acquired by the Boston Bruins two years ago at the trade deadline, and quickly became a fan favourite. Ultimately Bertuzzi decided to leave the Bruins during that off-season.

He ended up signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs on a one-year $5.5 million deal, and the Bruins would get the last laugh as they faced the Leafs this year in the playoffs and knocked them out in 7 games after losing a lot of people last year.

Paul Bissonnette was asking about people David Pastrnak may try to recruit on the Bruins, and when he brought up the idea of Tyler Bertuzzi coming back, Pastrnak quickly shot the idea down.

"He went to the Leafs. Bertuzzi went to the Leafs. Are you kidding me? He went to the Leafs. I don't know, man. You got me into a tight squeeze right now.

But I said already, for the Boston Bruins, Original Six, it should be enough for you to come want to play here and obviously, would I love people to come and wanting to play with me? Yes, of course, but, how I said, at the end of the day, if you don't want to come to the Bruins, you know, like, you have to want to come there."

Tyler Bertuzzi clearly did not want to come back to the Bruins during the off-season and even took a shot at them saying he thought the Leafs had a better chance at winning.

David Pastrnak obviously wasn't a fan of that and let everyone know how he feels about Bertuzzi leaving to join a rival team.
