David Pastrnak is trending for his celebration after scoring the gold medal goal.
Team Czechia was facing Team Switzerland in the gold medal game at the IIHF World Championship last night.
The Boston Bruins had two players representing their country in Pavel Zacha and David Pastrnak who both played for Czechia.
With just over 10 minutes left in the third period the game was still tied 0-0, thats until David Pastrnak let a bomb go off a one-timer to break the ice and give team Czechia a 1-0 lead.
This would go on to be the game winning goal for team Czechia as they would beat Switzerland 2-0. Pastrnak's celebration after scoring the gold medal winning goal is making headways on social media.
David Pastrnak might have seen the playoffs with the Bruins as a failure as they weren't able to make a run for the Stanley Cup, but scoring the game winning goal in a gold medal game has to be a good feeling for the star player.
