Boston Bruins head coach Joe Sacco just issued a crucial statement on a gritty forward.

Today following practice, interim head coach Joe Sacco issued a crucial update on an injured Boston Bruins forward.

Mark Kastelic has been out of the Bruins lineup since January 20th when the Boston Bruins faced off against the San Joe Sharks.

Kastelic ended up leaving the game due to an upper-body injury and it was later revealed that he had entered concussion protocol for the second time this month.

Well the Bruins got some promising news today, as head coach Joe Sacco revealed that Mark Kastelic will be good to go for their game tomorrow against the Minnesota Wild.

Sacco: Kastelic is available to play tomorrow.

The fact that the Boston Bruins medical team has given Mark Kastelic the green light to return to the Boston Bruins lineup is huge for the team.

The 25-year-old has become a big foundation to the Bruins bottom six this season and his ability to stick up for his teammates, and give them energy by throwing hits or dropping the gloves is something they have missed since he has been out with an injury.

Don Sweeney acquired Mark Kastelic along with a first-round pick, and Joonas Korpisalo in the off-season when they traded Linus Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators.

So far this season, Mark Kastelic has appeared in 45 games for the Original Six club and has been a big factor, scoring four goals, 9 assists for 13 points, and has registered 175 hits.

Do you think the Boston Bruins are a better team with Mark Kastelic in the lineup?
