The Florida Panthers did not hold back on Jeremy Swayman, and the Boston Bruins.

Right out of the gate the Boston Bruins looked sloppy, and the Florida Panthers looked sharp, the Panthers had all of the momentum, and did not take things easy on the Boston Bruins.

After the first period the Boston Bruins were trailing 4-1, and during the second period Florida Panthers fans started to chirp Jeremy Swayman after taking a 5-1 lead.

"We want Swayman" chants breaking out at Amerant Bank Arena

Koprisalo is in his debut with the Boston Bruins, and it's not a good look for him, some of the goals were very sloppy, but the Boston Bruins have not helped him out either.

The defense has been horrendous during the opening night game, and they have not been discipline at all, taking many unnecessary penalties.

Jim Montgomery stated that Jeremy Swayman might have a chance to start the game tonight for the Boston Bruins, but ultimately went with Joonas Korpisalo after Jeremy Swayman missed all of camp with the Boston Bruins due to contract negotiations.

Joonas Koprisalo struggled with the Ottawa Senators last year posting a 21-26-4 record, with a 3.06 GAA and a .901 SV%. The Boston Bruins ended up acquiring Joonas Korpisalo in the Linus Ullmark trade along with Mark Kastelic and the 25th overall pick in the NHL Entry Draft this year.

If the Bruins want to be competitive this year, Joonas Korpisalo is going to have to be better, the Boston Bruins are not going to be able to just rely on Jeremy Swayman all year.
