Mark Kastelic and former Boston Bruin A.J. Greer threw bombs in a fight that took place just over 6 minutes into the season opening night for both teams.

The Florida Panthers came out flying against the Boston Bruins, testing out Joonas Korpisalo early in the game. One of the Panthers first good chances were on a breakaway where Korpisalo stood tall and robbed Carter Verhaeghe of a good scoring chance.

Carter Verhaeghe is denied by Joonas Korpisalo on the breakaway.

Mark Kastelic known for his rough style of play, threw a hit on Florida Panthers forward and former Boston Bruin, Jesper Boqvist, and A.J Greer did not like it and challenged him to a fight.

Not long after this fight took place the Florida Panthers went on to score two quick goals to take a 2-0 advantage early on in the game.

This team has built a nasty rivalry over the past couple of years after facing off against each other in the playoffs multiple times. Unfortunately the Florida Panthers have come out on top the past two years.

Mark Kastelic was acquired by the Boston Bruins in a trade that sent Linus Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators early into the off-season.

Along with Mark Kastelic the Boston Bruins also acquired Joonas Korpisalo who is the starting goaltender for the Boston Bruins tonight, and the 25th overall pick in the first round of the Entry Level Draft this year.
