A former Boston Bruins player has officially signed a new contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

It was just announced that former Boston Bruins player Dan Renouf has signed a contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins affiliate team, the Wilkes-Barre Scranton.

Renouf has not played a game in the NHL since the 2022-23 season when he appeared in one game for the Boston Bruins.

If Renouf wanted to or was offered a contract from any NHL team he is still eligible to go and sign with them.

Dan Renouf became a free agent this off-season after completing a two-year, two-way deal with the Boston Bruins organization that paid him a salary of $400k each season.
