Former Boston Bruins goalie Ed Chadwick has passed away
Today, there's some sad news from the world of hockey. The Toronto Maple Leafs shared that their former goalie, Ed Chadwick, has passed away. They posted this message:
"We're sad to hear about former Leafs goalie Ed Chadwick's passing. He played 140 games in a row for the Leafs and was the last goalie to play every game in a season. He played five seasons for Toronto and won 57 games. Our thoughts are with his family."
Chadwick had his name engraved on the Stanley Cup three times and played in 140 games without missing one. He wore jerseys for both the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins. Later on, he laced up his skates for teams like the Hershey Bears and Buffalo Bison before calling it a career.
Ed Chadwick was 90 years old when he passed away. Our hearts go out to his family during this difficult time.
